AHS: Asylum Episode Guide​
Here is your guide to the entire season, which is about an asylum in Massachusetts and what lurks behind the walls. Note that there will be spoilers to each episode. American Horror Story airs Wednesday nights on FX. The season finale aired on Jan. 23, 2013.

So much in so little time. We start in the present and head back to 1964 to get a taste of what lurks behind the walls of Briarcliff Asylum. Aired Oct. 17 on FX.
Help is called in to perform an exorcism and we learn more about Sister Jude’s past. We also learn Dr. Arden has a little obsession with Sister Mary. Meanwhile, Lara tries to plan an escape with Grace. Aired Oct. 24 on FX.
A storm is coming to Briarcliff. As several patients plan an escape, Sister Jude has to face something from her past. Aired Oct. 31 on FX.
Kit learns why Grace was admitted to Briarcliff. A patient claiming to be Anne Frank is admitted and accuses Dr. Arden of being a Nazi who tortured girls at Auschwitz. Aired Nov. 7 on FX.
As Sister Jude hires a renowned Nazi Hunter to investigate Arden, she realizes she just may be losing control of Briarcliff. Meanwhile, Kit makes a confession and Grace realizes he really didn’t kill his wife. Plus, Bloody Face is revealed!!!! Aired Nov. 14 on FX.
In a sort of filler episode, we learn more about the start of Bloody Face and Sister Mary. Meanwhile, Sister Jude's job is on the line as Msgnr. Howards makes another deal with Dr. Arden. Aired Nov. 21, 2012 on FX.
The dark angel visits a few patients, as well was Sister Jude, to ease their pain and take them over to the other side, which freaks out Sister Mary. Meanwhile, Kit escapes prison and Lana escapes Bloody Face. Aired Nov. 28 on FX.
A serial killer Santa wrecks havoc on Briarcliff. Arden proves his loyalty to Sister Mary and has an alien encounter of his own. Lana Winters teams up with Kit to stop Bloody Face/Dr. Thredson. Aired Dec. 5 on FX.
The msgnr. makes an unlikely friend. Lana gets more evidence to convict Thredson. AND the aliens come back!! Aired Dec. 12 on FX.
The Monsignor confronts the devil. Dr. Arden faces his own demons and makes a touch choice, while Judy goes crazy. And Dr. Thredson and Lana keep one upping each other. Aired Jan. 2 on FX.
Things are starting to wrap up this week. Grace gives Kit unfortunate news about Alma and the aliens. And Lana finally confronts Dr. Thredson/Bloody Face with the upper hand. Aired Jan. 9 on FX.
In what seems like a filler episode, Kit is trying to make a life with both Alma and Grace comes to a violent end. While, Jude seems to have completely lost it, Lana is living the life as a famous writer. Aired Jan. 16 on FX.
In the season finale, questions are answered as Johnny tries to finish his father’s work, while we learn how Lana shuts down Briarcliff. Aired Jan. 23 on FX.
